"They are super helpful even at the drop of the dime. They are also super flexible if you are moving jobs and payment may be late they will help you along with that and are fully understanding. Just filled out a renters insurance claim and as a first time renters insurance person, they walked me through each step. I recommend them 110%"

"Kyle was super awesome and knowledgeable. He talked me through every part of auto insurance and we actually discovered that if I had gotten in an accident with my previous provider, I would’ve been in a really bad spot. "It's awesome to work with Stephanie; she's incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We had some complex insurance needs (moving our family from one state to another outside of Michigan, while shifting coverage for our child, who is an NMU student). "Called to have my policies canceled because I moved to a competitor and saved quite a bit of money. Was met with prying irrelevant questions, about new said policies. This went on for a good 7 minutes before I finally got confirmation that my policies would be canceled. Makes it very hard to wanna come back or recommend others to a business like this with such shady sales tactics. Update: just got an email that my card will be charged in 2 days. Seems they are incapable of canceling policies at the end of their terms even?"

"Michael, I am sorry to hear that your interpretation of the conversation you had with my office was so poor. We take the responsibility of providing insurance to our community members VERY seriously- when you requested to cancel your insurance, we told you we could take care of that for you right away. The reason for the follow up questions was to make sure that you understood that, yes, you may be saving money but you were not getting the same coverage-by a long shot. We take pride in putting our customers first in everything we do, and we understand that insurance can be a tricky and confusing thing for most people. Our mission is to help people understand the decisions they are making so they do not find themselves in a bad situation later when/if something bad happens. This is not a "shady sales tactic" this is us actually caring about the customers that trust us to insure the things they value the most, ie: car, home and even their lives. As for the cancellation of your policies- your request was processed by my office immediately and while that request was being processed by underwriting, we suspended your billing so you were not charged while waiting for the cancellation to finalize.
